Rimmel London space dust nail polish review ♥

Today I am going to be reviewing the Rimmel London Space Dust nail polishes. I received the whole collection for my birthday and they retail for £3.99 in Boots and Superdrug. They're textured glitter nail polishes and come in 5 shades - Aurora, Luna Love, Shooting Star, Total Eclipse and Moon Walking. My favorite one is Aurora, which is a light pinky polish with silver glitter.

I've found that these polishes all dry pretty quickly (In a few minutes), which is good because I absolutely hate waiting for my nails to dry! But the most impressive thing about these polishes is the colour range and the finish it gives. It's quite opaque, so you can wear it with just one coat, but personally I like to wear two.

The only downside to this product is that it is quite hard to remove, meaning there's a bit of scrubbing involved, but that's to be expected with a textured nail polish. Also I have found that the brush does seem to go a little bit thicker after several uses, with the hairs spread out, which makes it harder to control. I think this is probably to do with me not shutting the bottle properly, but it has happened to me in the past with other glitter polishes.

Overall though, I would thoroughly recommend this product - It dries fast, has great colours and is relatively cheap. What more could you want from a nail polish?

New purses - River Island ♥

So, I was sitting down watching TV and my mum suddenly comes in and says "I forget to give you these to you for your birthday, I completely forgot!" whilst giving me a little River Island bag. My mum often does this, in February she gave me a box of chocolates that she had forgotten to give me for Christmas! Anyway I can't really complain. The little River Island bag contained two quite beautiful purses. However I'm not sure if they are still available and I don't know how much they cost, but they were just to pretty to not do a blog post about!

Yes, they are quite OTD, but I absolutely love them! My purse at the moment is a little worn down, in need of replacing, Primark purse. So I was quite frankly happy that I had received two beautiful purses. They feel sturdy and good quality and have pretty detailing on them. The first thing I said to my mum was "Omg mum, how much did they cost?!" because I know that River Island purses can cost £25+. Turns out they were in the sale which reduced my panic and made me feel better. I always feel guilty when people buy me nice gifts, do you get that too?

The first one is a shiny, holographic purse with silver inside. It has a nice gold strip across the front which loudly states that it is from River Island, as do most purses/bags from the store. I love the holographic material, all the swirling colours just fascinate me. This will definitely make a statement, when I pull it out in a shop to pay for something! I was also thinking it would be used as a little clutch as my phone fits inside and it's pretty big for a purse.

The second purse is a black "leather" purse which is covered in intricate gems and studs of different sizes and colours. This purse also has a gold strip across the front and a large gold River Island logo in the centre. However it has a slightly different design and shape to the other one as it features two different sections, a normal section at the front, where you have to lift up the front flap and another at the back which can be opened by twisting the little gold handles.

I can't wait to use them and show of my new purses, the only problem is, which one should I use first?

Little spring fashion haul ♥

Necklace - Primark
I was walking to the tills in Primark when I spotted this necklace, it was an absolute bargain at only £3!

Bank and Primark

I absolutely love the collar on this dress! I have been looking for a collared dress for ages and all of a sudden I have found a couple that I like so I think i'm going to have to buy more than one. This shirt is nice and loose and "flowy", so I thought it would be perfect for those days in spring where its not hot but not  cold.

Bank and H&M
Last weekend I went shopping and picked up a few bits with my birthday money. I seem to have an obsession with skirts at the moment so I will probably be wearing them all spring/summer. I love the coral skirt as it can be dressed up or dressed down.

EOS Lip balms - Worth the hype? ♥

Today I am here with a review of the EOS lip balms. There has been a massive hype surrounding EOS lip balms for a while now, as they are only available in the US. Until recently they seemed almost impossible to get hold of, but now that Selfridges and Amazon are selling them, everyone seems to be going crazy for them all over again. They retail for around £5.99, which I know is quite a lot of money for just a...well....lip balm, but whilst I was browsing Amazon I found them for only £2.50 on a special deal. I told my Mum that I was thinking of buying one and because Mums seem to remember everything, I woke up on my birthday to open two. I have them in Strawberry Sorbet and Pomegranate.

The first thing I noticed when I got them out their packaging was their smooth rounded shape. I think that this is the reason everybody seems to love them. I find the shape really handy as you can just chuck one in your bag and find it really easily. However, unlike other lip balms, they won't fit in your pocket.

The texture of the lip balm is very smooth and almost "buttery", meaning that it glides on your lips really well. I know the main thing your probably wanting to know is "Do they actually moisturize your lips?" and the answer to that is yes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they left my lips feeling softer than they were before as I have tried some lip balms in the past where they make no difference at all.

As well as being a good moisturizer they also have a nice sweet smell. The Pomegranate one has quite a weak scent and taste but Strawberry Sorbet smells delicious! It even tastes of strawberries!

I think that these cute EOS lip balms will be holding a permanent position in my everyday routine and in my handbag; good job I have two! I would 100% recommend EOS lip balms and will probably find more in the future, but the only downside is the price as £5.99 is quite dear. So if your planning on buying one, look out for special deals on amazon.

Have you tried any EOS lip balms before?
