Maybelline Brow Drama ♥

Today, I have a review of the Maybelline brow drama, which I have in the shade dark blonde. It's basically a tinted brow gel, which you apply with what looks like an oddly shaped mascara wand.  It claims to give you a "Sleek, structured look" Firstly I would like to point out that it will not give you strong bold defined brows, so if your looking for something that does that, I would recommend that you continue your search elsewhere. However it does make your brows look thicker by filling in any sparse areas or "bald patches" as I like to call them. The second problem I would like the point out is the size of the brush although this is probably just a personal problem as I do have quite thin brows, but I find the brush to be a tad to big. Having a large brush makes it harder to achieve a "structured look" as you cannot apply it accurately.

Besides from that slight problem, it's smooth sailing from now on. The shade is just perfect for me and is not too warm toned, which is something I tend to suffer with when it comes to brow products. The formula has a good level of pigmentation as it is isn't too 'coloured' but it doesn't lack colour, so I like to apply two coats. But be sure not to apply too many coats unless you want the 'I can't move my eyebrows' look, as it can go a little crispy. It does keep your eyebrows locked in place though.

Overall, I would reccomend this product as it's great for those days that you can't be bothered to fill in your eyebrows. However if you have thin eyebrows you may find it hard to neatly fill them in but a makeup wipe can sort that out.

Have you tried this product before?

  1. I bought this the other day and I noticed the same problem. Unless you have Cara Delevigne brows, how can you achive a structured look with that wand? I saw this featured in every magazine and couldn`t wait to try it, but now I`m a bit disappointed.

  4. I recently purchased this but at first had a little bit of trouble. I found it worked well with another mascara wand and now i use it almost everyday.
